Storm Bert is battering Devon and Cornwall with flood warnings in place, fallen trees across the region and many properties without power. The Environment Agency has issued 13 flood warnings and 33 flood alerts for Devon, and 15 flood alerts for Cornwall.

Dozens of flood warnings and alerts remain in place across England on Sunday as disruption from Storm Bert continues in many parts of the UK. A man in his 60s died on Saturday after a tree hit his car near Winchester, while a number of homes were flooded in counties Down and Tyrone in Northern Ireland.

Flood alerts, a yellow warning meaning flooding is possible, are in place at the Lower River Ribble in Darwen, Lower Wyre River, River Calder, River Lostock and River Yarrow, Lower River Lune, Upper River Irwell and Upper River Ribble.
