According to Bloomberg, Apple plans to announce Siri upgrades alongside iOS 19 and macOS 16 next year, but it may not formally launch until spring 2026.

Bloomberg reports that Apple is working on an "LLM Siri" for iOS 19 that will be more conversational to compete with ChatGPT.

In a new report, Gurman claims that Apple has been internally tested a version of Siri infused with LLM powers (predictably, it’s been dubbed “LLM Siri”), and the result is a more conversational, powerful version of Apple’s virtual assistant.
