A man barricaded himself inside a Concord Coalition to End Homelessness apartment on Pleasant Street Monday morning after a threat incident.

Pleasant Street in Concord was back open after a man armed with a knife barricaded himself inside a building. The road had been shut down between Liberty and Warren streets for much of the afternoon.

Police said a person was refusing to come out of a building and had allegedly threatened two social workers who went to check on him.

A 66-year-old man is under arrest after police say he barricaded himself inside an apartment in Concord, New Hampshire for several hours on Monday. Concord Police responded to an apartment on Pleasant Street shortly after 9a.
