Larian has said it won’t add any major story content updates or DLC for Baldur’s Gate 3. But with these patches including the recent addition of official mod support, the developers have left the game in the best place for the community to continue the adventure without them. Patch 8 is scheduled to release next year.

Since releasing in August last year, Larian Studios' award-winning CRPG Baldur's Gate 3 has been consistently updated over time with major content additions and bug fixes. The game's final large update will be Patch 8,

Patch 8 in Baldur’s Gate 3 introduces Photo Mode and Crossplay features to the game and 12 new subclasses to provide a new way to play. Alongside this, expect plenty of bug fixes in what could be Larian’s final “major patch” to the title.
